Supernatural fans will be able to make creepy delicacies with official cookbook

Have you ever wanted to eat like Sam and Dean Winchester? Well, now you can with the upcoming release of an official Supernatural cookbook!

When you grab the salt this time it won’t be for demon and ghost protection, it will also be a way to season your delicious recipes from the upcoming Supernatural cookbook. Fans of Insight Editions, the website known for creating miscellaneous items from the show, is bringing another new creation for passionate Winchester devotees.

Jessica Torres and Julie Tremaine have teamed up once again to create Supernatural: The Official Cookbook. The book promises to contain foods from the show such as succulent pies in the name of Dean and some healthier options for those who prefer Sam’s diet.

From the product description, the cookbook will contain some infamous dishes from the series like Garth’s Roadhouse Potatoes, To-Die-For Chicago Pizza, Elvis Burger, and the infamous Pig ‘N A Poke.

If you want to check out the book in more detail before you order, the website offers a sample of the pages. The book offers full-color photos and fun tidbits from the long-running series. It’s a great accompaniment to the final season which is currently airing on The CW.

As for the authors, neither of them are strangers to the fandom so you can take comfort in the fact a super-fan like Julie Tremaine aided in the creation of this cookbook. Tremaine has written for other outlets such as Yahoo!, Forbes, and Yankee Magazine. She considers herself team Castiel.

Natalie Fisher from Hypable recently posted her official positive review of the cookbook.  She praises the book for being a “labor of love” and a delight for fans along with being a genuinely good compilation of recipes.

"It’s a catalogue of memories, reminding us of Supernatural’s most significant food-driven moments and, as in any story, what cooking and eating can represent or reveal about characters."

They do say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach and that is certainly true for several characters on the series. It wouldn’t be the same show without the many quirky diners and seedy motel detours.
