Bathe in sin: Diabolica Bath and Body Ghost unboxing
By Devin Shea
If you love the Swedish metal band Ghost and you want to show your fandom everywhere, Diabolica Bath and Body can take your fandom into the bathtub.
This was one of the Ghost-themed companies that I was most excited to work with. As a Ghost fan, I love to show off my fandom in any way possible and thanks to a company called Diabolica Bath and Body, you are able to take a bath with Ghost…kind of.
Diabolica Bath and Body used to be a company called Sisters of Sin. You may notice that some of the products in this unboxing still say Sisters of Sin but this was before the name change. Their products as of now have the correct labels on them.
A huge thank you to Diabolica Bath and Body for sending these items to me to unbox for you. It is wonderful to see the items that fellow Ghost fans create to share with the fandom. They were kind enough to send me several bath bombs along with bath salts and their famous coffee scrub.
Before I get into the unboxing, I would like to say just how nice Anna, the owner of the company, is. She was extremely helpful and when USPS completely destroyed the first box of items she sent, she sent new items just so we could unbox them on 1428 Elm. In terms of customer service, Diabolica is amazing. Let’s look at what she sent.
The first item was her Papal bath bomb. this is obviously modeled after the Papas, complete with one white eye. There is no color in this bomb but it turns your water swirly and milky. The scent is incredible with notes of spice, myrrh, and patchouli. While it is on the masculine side, I loved how my skin smelled afterward. You can snag one of these for only $6.
Here we have two of the Elizabeth bath bombs; one of them from the first box and one from the second. The bomb from the first box is extremely soft and won’t hold its shape out of the plastic. The other is still moderately soft but in better shape. This blood-red bath bomb is made after the Ghost song about Elizabeth Bathory, who was said to bathe in the blood of virgins. This will turn your bath blood red and is scented with dragon’s blood. It is very pigmented, so immediately wash your tub of residue after the bath. Get one for yourself for $4.50.
Ghuleh…ghuleeeeeeeh. This is obviously the Ghuleh bath bomb, so named after the song “Zombie Queen/Ghuleh.” The scent profile on this one is my absolute favorite. This bath bomb smells of flowers and grave dirt, one of my favorite combinations. This is a shimmering purple-black bomb that will turn the water into a gorgeous outer space-like swirl. This one is definitely a win, but be sure to rinse that tub. Grab one for $4.50.
I have a love/hate relationship with the Diabolica Bath and Body bath bomb called Into the Void. This thing is MASSIVE, about twice the size of their other bath bombs. It is jet black and smells of black raspberry vanilla. When you put it in the tub, the water turns into inky blackness and it is a glorious Gothic bath. That’s the love part. After using this, I immediately rinsed my tub and there’s just some black that I can’t remove without intense scrubbing. I didn’t have the same issue with the other ones but it could be because this is loaded with pigment for only $4.50.
Hi, I’m D and I’m a coffee addict. I love coffee and all of its benefits. Coffee grounds are great for your skin as the caffeine has some good benefits. Diabolica Bath and Body agrees with their Black Mass scrub. On the site, her description indicates that it is safe to use on the face and great for dark circles. Because I have sensitive skin, I stick to just using this on the body. The coffee, charcoal, and almond oil together makes for a great detoxing exfoliation. Get yours for $9.35.
The last item from Diabolica Bath and Body is the jar of Mummy Dust Bath Salts in green apple and mint. She has since released an orange and patchouli version as well. These smell so fresh, and it leaves your skin feeling hydrated and clean. Salt soaks are good for your muscles and for skin toning. Bath salt that reminds you of one of the best Ghost songs is even better. Get yours for $6.66.
That is all for the Diabolica Bath and Body unboxing! I absolutely loved these items for more reasons than one. Not only do they feel luxurious, smell great, and make you feel like a Goth queen, but they rep your love for Ghost. You can shop all of her products on her Etsy page HERE. I cannot wait to see what new products she comes out with in the future.
