Synopsis: The Turn of the Screw by Henry James is getting a lot of coverage this year between Mike Flanagan’s follow-up to Haunting of Hill House and this new horror film starring Stranger Things’ Finn Wolfhard.

The movie tells the story of two orphans harboring a dark secret and their poor nanny charged with looking over them. Except she doesn’t have any idea what she’s getting herself into when she first shows up to the Maine estate.

7. A Quiet Place: Part II

  • Starring: Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, Cillian Murphy, and Djimon Hounsou

Synopsis: John Krasinski returns to direct the follow-up to the breakout success of his previous horror film, A Quiet Place. The sequel film will follow the remaining Abbott family as they learn to adapt to the world of monstrous creatures that hunt by sound.

At the end of the first film, we saw them learn one of the monster’s critical weaknesses. Other than that, plot details about the new movie are scarce aside from Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou joining the cast.
