10 best new horror shows from 2019

8. Creepshow
Creepshow is a continuation of the original film series of the same name. The show was created by the horror streaming service, Shudder. Each episode tells new grim horror stories. Creepshow adapted everything from Stephen King to Joe Hill and more.
Luckily for fans of the updated series, it has officially received a Season 2 renewal. It will return sometime in the near future. The series also enlisted the assistance of special effects master, Greg Nicotero, to design some genuinely gruesome monsters and creatures throughout the first series of stories.
7. V-Wars
V-Wars is one of the newest series on the list. The show debuted recently on Netflix and is based on a series of graphic novels. The show stars Ian Somerhalder as Doctor Luther Swann. Swann is obsessed with finding a cure to a deadly virus outbreak. The virus causes its victims to act like vampires.
They’re not supernatural, but the show serves as a gory medical thriller and is quite addicting. Swann becomes motivated to stop the virus after his close friend becomes infected. It’s a little similar in story to another show from earlier this year, The Passage. Hopefully, unlike The Passage, V-Wars will continue for many more seasons.
