Bruce Campbell had some fun on Twitter yesterday when he took the “credit” for a Bigfoot sighting in Washington state.

Bruce Campbell has been known to pull pranks on his fans via social media in the past. The most famous one would be when he announced to the world that he was going to play Doctor Who back in 2016.

Then of course, there was the time when casting for Deadpool 2 was looking for an actor to portray Cable. Campbell decided to put his hat in the ring for the role on Twitter that eventually went to Josh Brolin. The Photoshop used to achieve the makeup for the character was amazing, we might add!

Yesterday, Bruce decided to have fun with Washington State’s Department of Transportation. The organization’s webcam on Sherman Pass/SR 20 caught a very interesting anomaly on camera. If you zoom in, it appears to be Bigfoot!

Sasquatch (another name for the cryptid) has been a legend in the Pacific Northwest for over 200 years. Loggers and fur trappers claimed to have seen the large, hairy beast roaming the forests in the 1800’s. However, the apex for sightings of the creature occurred during the 70’s when everyone was catching Bigfoot fever.

What started the monster mania was the film footage captured by Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin in Northern California in 1967. At one time or another, everyone has seen this intriguing bit of “evidence” where the beast appears to be staring right into the camera.

With the latest possible “sighting” captured by WSDOT’s webcam, Bruce Campbell decided to joke about the incident. The actor took credit for the appearance of the notoriously elusive Bigfoot by stating on Twitter:

Pretty hilarious, if you ask us. For those who believe in Sasquatch, the truth is out there. Check out the footage below. You be the judge…
