Ghost Nation will return to Travel Channel in April for Season 2. This time around, we are introduced to a new team member and even more chilling episodes.

Ghost Nation returns to Travel Channel next month. The pioneers of paranormal investigation, Jason Hawes, Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango will tackle even bigger mysteries in Season 2.

Fans of the series will be introduced to a new team member, Shari DeBenedetti who will be reviewing footage and monitoring supernatural activity at the various locations. Shari has been friends with Jason for years after appearing on the SyFy original, Ghost Hunters series.

DeBenedetti became an investigator after living in a haunted house. With her background, she is sure to become an invaluable asset to the Ghost Nation crew.

The first episode of the series will be two hours in length. It is bound to be intense because apparently, cadaver dogs will be brought in. What we do know is that the show will continue to adhere to its unique approach.

More from Horror on TV

Instead of merely identifying the cause of the ghostly activities for each case that they take on, Hawes and his team will become immersed in the background of the locations that they are visiting. This will involve not only research and state-of-the-art technologies but actually interacting with citizens in the various communities.

Expect episodes centered on Louisburg, North Carolina; Warwick, New York; Waynesville, Ohio; Biglerville, Pennsylvania and Blair, South Carolina. Hawes and his crew will endeavor to rid these areas of phenomenon with the assistance of local paranormal groups.
