Say your prayers: Hallowed Be Thy Name unleashes an old evil
Hallowed Be Thy Name from 3rd Fathom Films and Gravitas Ventures will be released on June 2. Say your prayers because an ancient evil is about to be awakened.
Hallowed Be Thy Name is the latest effort from 3rd Fathom Films directed by Taylor Ri’chard. Set in rural Georgia, we follow three friends as they unleash an ancient evil.
At first, everything seems innocent enough. Devin (Collin Shepard) has moved to a new town and is having trouble adjusting to his bucolic surroundings until he befriends Skylar (Alissa Hale) and Mick (Bryen Lenis).
Bored and looking for adventure, the trio decide to explore a haunted cave. Despite local legends and warnings to stay away, they ignore everyone’s advice.
Dwelling inside the dark space is a demon named CAUCHEMAR. Legend has it that he will grant wishes to those that enter his dwelling. Of course, the teens meet up with him.
Let’s face it, if you had the chance to have your dreams come true, you would probably throw caution to the wind. However, like the old adage says, be careful for what you wish for.
Now, Devin and his friends have awakened this hellish minion who will start wreaking havoc on their quaint burg. Who will survive?
This is Taylor Ri’chard’s second film. He first came to prominence as an associate producer on the Oscar winning documentary, Murder on a Sunday Morning. A huge fan of 80’s slashers particularly Freddy and Jason, he may have created a new horror icon based on his childhood in Louisiana and Cajun folklore.
