The Stuff and other horror hits on Arrow Video Channel in June

The Stuff, House and other horror hits are streaming on Arrow Video Channel in June. Summer is about to get scary.

The Stuff, Larry Cohen’s 1985 horror satire about consumerism and advertising is one of those films that didn’t slay the box office when it opened but over time has attained cult status. Think of it as an Invasion of the Body Snatchers type film. When an odd white substance is found in the ground near an Alaskan refinery, it is the beginning of the end so to speak.

A worker decides to take a little taste, enjoys it and the next thing you know, the unctuous goo gets snatched up by a food company and it becomes bigger than Soylent Green. Michael Moriarty portrays a man named Mo who is hired to discover what “The Stuff” is made of. What he finds out is that a deadly parasite is the key ingredient that turns people into zombies.

Arrow Video Channel has added The Stuff to its June line-up of feature films. Another fun horror flick, House starring William Katt is also another selection that is being offered on the streaming network.

Roger Cobb is a writer of chillers who finds his life turned upside down when his son, Jimmy disappears under mysterious circumstances while visiting his aunt. When his relative dies suddenly, Cobb returns to the house which is the beginning of a nightmare that he might not be able to overcome.
