Ghost Adventures: Screaming Room returns while Believers begins

Ghost Adventures: Screaming Room returns to Travel Channel while new series, Believers premieres. You can catch both programs next month.

Ghost Adventures: Screaming Room returns to Travel Channel. Zak Bagans and his team of investigators (Aaron Goodwin, Jay Wasley and Billy Tolley) screen their favorite episodes for fans. What makes this show so unique is the approach.

You feel as if you are in the theater with the crew and are reminiscing with them about past cases. If you like behind the scenes productions, then you will enjoy reliving some of the series most terrifying, humorous and crazy segments.

Bagans, Goodwin, Wasley and Tolley are highly entertaining plus they always have a few good stories to share. Ghost Adventures: Screaming Room episode, “Ship of the Damned,” has Zak doing pirate cosplay as the gang talks about their experiences on a ship haunted by the spirits of stowaways.

In “Gunslinger Ghosts,” the guys discuss their time in Tombstone, Arizona. The ghost hunt at the O.K. Corral is definitely a haunt to remember.

Believers is new to the Travel Channel schedule. This is a paranormal production from the viewpoint of eyewitnesses to supernatural events. Normally, shows focus on the people that are being haunted or possessed by spirits.

Much like another successful Travel Channel series, A Haunting, this series combines archival footage with dramatic re-enactments. It will be interesting to see how they handle the eyewitness accounts and their transition into believers in the paranormal.

The series premiere episode, “The Slip Knot” has three creepy segments. In the first one, a Hollywood photographer meets up with an angry apparition of a sailor and ends up getting attacked. Segue to a security guard who is led to the scene of a fire by a ghost while the last segment follows a detective who is on the trail of a missing woman. A passerby happens to see her but the investigator learns that she is not living, in fact, she is dead.

Tune into Ghost Adventures: Screaming Room on Thursday, July 9 at 9 p.m. and the premiere of Believers on Saturday, July 11 at 9 p.m.
