Bruce Campbell teased the plot of Bruce vs Frankenstein this weekend during a Q & A session at the Midway Drive-In on his “Keep Your Distance” tour and it will be chockfull of genre celebrities.

Bruce Campbell appeared at the Midway Drive-In in Dixon, Illinois this past weekend to hang out with fans and showcase Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead trilogy. During his Q & A, he was asked if he had any projects that have come up recently that he is excited for. The actor responded very quickly with “Bruce vs Frankenstein.”

This has been an idea that Campbell has been kicking around for a while now. In a recent interview, he revealed that he was going the graphic novel route after speaking with his partner, Mike Richardson from Dark Horse. Which makes perfect sense because it will give potential investors an idea of what the film would look like and since Bruce will be directing, it will be like doing storyboards.

He then proceeded to tease the plot of this future endeavor. In the sequel to My Name Is Bruce, he would be invited to go to the first annual Franken Con in Shempsdorf, Germany. Apparently, they found Frankenstein.

We can see where this is headed comedically. Bruce also went on to say that he envisions an “Expendables of Horror” scenario (another idea that he has had for years).

"“Basically, I want to get every horror actor out there to be a bellhop or a waiter or whatever. Everywhere you turn I want to see Robert Englund or one of those guys.”"

He also expressed his desire to have his pal, Ted Raimi on board as well. As for the rumor that has been circulating about the project being picked up by Netflix, Bruce Campbell didn’t mince words.

"“They would have to acknowledge my existence first.”"
