The X-Files cast and crew reunited to perform the iconic show’s theme song to raise funds for World Central Kitchen.

The X-Files cast and crew reunited for a special one-time video event. Chris Carter, David Duchovny, Mitch Pileggi and thirty other familiar faces came together to sing the show’s iconic theme song and raise money for World Central Kitchen.

This hilarious reunion provided fans with a much-needed respite from COVID-19 doldrums and political debates. According to Deadline, Mark Snow’s recognizable instrumental was given lyrics by two faithful viewers of the show, Jennifer Large and Rebecca MacDonald.

Of course, in keeping with social distancing protocol, everyone appeared remotely. Unfortunately, one important individual was notably absent from the fun. Gillian Anderson a.k.a. Dana Scully was nowhere to be found…for the vocal portion of the program.

However, keep your eyes peeled because she may have shown up later. It was great to see the characters we know and love from all 11 seasons of the series. Take a look at the impressive roster of talent that participated in this fundraiser:
