Eli Roth’s History of Horror: Uncut returns for a new season. What can we expect from this hit podcast the second time around?

Eli Roth’s History of Horror: Uncut premiered yesterday on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and other media platforms. This effort is a great companion to the television series which will begin its second season on Oct. 10 on AMC.

Hosted by Roth with interviews conducted by Kurt Sayenga, fans will truly enjoy the in-depth discussions with the talent and filmmakers who are major influencers within the genre. If you are a Megan Fox admirer, you are in luck. The actress is featured on one of the first episodes.

She may be known for Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles but in 2009, the actress starred in Karyn Kusama’s horror comedy, Jennifer’s Body in the title role. As a possessed cheerleader, Fox managed to blend sexy and funny into one perfect performance.

However, at the time, the Diablo Cody penned flick was widely panned. As the years went by, it began to gain cult status.

Also featured on Eli Roth’s History of Horror: Uncut, Bill Hader. The versatile actor proved he had the chops for Stephen King when he was cast as the adult Richie Tozier in It: Chapter Two.

On the podcast, he offers new insights into his character from the film as well as other anecdotes.

Prior to making a splash in that blockbuster, Hader was the king of comedy having appeared on Saturday Night Live for several seasons. He also starred in the award-winning cable series, Barry as well as The Mindy Project, The Venture Bros. and the animated box office winner, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

Here is the guest line-up for the rest of the season:

  • Nancy Allen
  • Ken Foree
  • Ari Aster
  • Roger Corman
  • Mary Harron
  • Don Mancini
  • Barbara Muschietti
  • Greg Nicotero
