The Howl-o-ween season is finally here! If you love animals like we do, you want them to be included in the holiday fun. Here is a list of top pet costumes for “pawsplay.”

Pet costumes are everywhere at this time of the year. You walk through the doors of Pet Smart to be greeted with anything from cozy sweaters to a Chewbacca suit for your Chihuahua.

After all, humans shouldn’t get to have all the fun when it comes to dressing up for Halloween. Why not let Rover or Fifi in on the good times?

That is why we decided to put together a list of inventive choices for pet costumes or what we like to call, “Pawsplay.”

Pennywise the Pooch

IT is one of Stephen King’s most beloved stories. Perhaps, because it deals with the difficult transition from childhood to young adulthood. When everyone is encouraged to lose their individuality to “fit in” with societal expectations.

Let’s face it, the author created one of the most terrifying monsters ever in this novel. Pennywise the dancing clown is the stuff of nightmares. He’s the personification of “stranger danger.”

Now, if you are feeling bold enough, you and your dog can do a little cosplay and “pawsplay” of your own for those Halloween parties. Just don a yellow raincoat, grab a red balloon and a lacy clown collar for your favorite canine.
