The Addams Family 2: The Addams family is extra kooky in the official sequel trailer

Earlier today MGM released the official trailer for The Addams Family 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 animated hit. This time around, the all together ooky, creepy family will hit the road for the ultimate, horrendous, family bonding experience this fall.
While the first film saw the family trying to deal with newcomers in their town and other challenges presented on their home turf, the sequel sees Morticia, Lurch, Fester, Wednesday, Pugsley, Gomez and the rest of the Addams clan piling into their monstrous camper to trek across the country and meet a host of mysterious and spooky characters.
As Wednesday and Pugsley continue to grow, they’re less inclined to spend time with their parents, so Gomez gets the idea to take his family on the road trip to end all road trips in the hopes they can renew their special familial spark.

The trailer teases many of the hijinks you can anticipate for the second film as Wednesday tortures her brother with a Pugsley-shaped voodoo doll, Pugsley schemes to blow up the Grand Canyon, and Cousin Itt zooms across the ocean on a jet ski to greet his freaky fam.

Most of the cast and crew from the first film is returning for the sequel, as it is directed once again with Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan reprising their roles as co-directors and stars like Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron and Chloe Grace Mortez returning to voice Gomez, Morticia, and Wednesday, respectively.
Nick Kroll, Bette Midler, and Snoop Dogg are also back reprising their roles from the first film and they’ll be joined by newcomers Bill Hader and Wallace Shawn. Javon “Wanna” Walton is also boarding the film to voice Pugsley, who was voiced by Finn Wolfhard in the first film.
