From James Wan, the director of Saw, The Conjuring, and Insidious, comes a brand new evil in Malignant, an upcoming horror film scheduled for release on HBO Max and in theaters later this year. While Wan hasn’t directed a Conjuring film in a while, he is considered the architect of the successful film universe.
Wan adapted the story from a screenplay by Akela Cooper based on an original story by Wan, Ingrid Bisu and Cooper. It stars Annabelle Wallis, Jake Abel, George Young, Jacqueline McKenzie, and Mckenna Grace.
Earlier today, Warner Bros. released the official first trailer for Malignant, first-look images, a poster, and more details about what we can expect when the movie finally releases!

The trailer looks downright terrifying as we get a glimpse of Madison’s life with this demonic entity named “George” living over her shoulder. It tells us that she’s started to see visions of murders as they happen, which is how the story begins.
