For six weeks now, we’ve been able to wake up to a brand-new episode of Evil Season 2 on Sunday mornings, should we expect that tradition to continue this weekend? Unfortunately, no, Evil is going on a summer hiatus and it won’t be back for a while.
That means for the next month or so, we’ll all have to find something else to watch or just rewatch the show from the beginning while we wait for it to come back!
When does Evil Season 2 return on Paramount+?
Evil won’t be back until the end of August, specifically August 29. When the show returns, it should air the remainder of its second season uninterrupted. We’ve already seen the first six episodes of the sophomore season, so seven episodes remain adding up to 13 total, just like Season 1.
There is something extra to be excited about when the show returns! As of Episode 6, we’re officially seeing the episodes of the show produced specifically for streaming. For the first five episodes of Evil Season 2, the cast and crew still thought the show would be airing on CBS.
From Episode 6 onward, they knew they were producing for streaming which means they no longer had to adhere to network rules and restrictions. You probably noticed that the sixth episode was 50+ minutes versus the usual 40-45 minutes.
While you wait for the show to return, now would be a great time to rewatch the season or revisit Season 1. After all, Evil is a show that loves to make references to things that happened in the past and hides clues along the way. Who knows what you might find?
