Watch the American Horror Story Season 10 premiere tonight

Well, it’s finally here. After a prolonged delay between seasons due to pandemic complications, American Horror Story Season 10, or American Horror Story: Double Feature as it’s officially titled, is premiering tonight, August 25, on FX. Even better, we’re getting two episodes tonight back-to-back.

The first episode is titled “Cape Fear,” and the second installment is “Pale.” The two-hour premiere will kick off at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. For those that have spent the past seven weeks watching the spinoff series American Horror Stories, keep in mind that the flagship horror anthology will air on its regular home of FX. However, you can also watch the episodes on Thursday through Hulu if you prefer to wait or no longer have cable.

What is the American Horror Story Season 10 premiere about?

As usual, most of the details regarding this season have been kept under wraps. We know that this season will be divided into two parts, the first is “Red Tide,” which takes place by the sea, and it will be followed by “Death Valley,” which takes place by the sand.

This season will include a mixture of new and returning cast members, including Frances Conroy, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross, Finn Wittrock, Denis O’Hare, and John Carroll Lynch. New cast members include Macaulay Culkin and Neal McDonough.

As for the actual first two episodes, FX has released the official synopsis for Episode 1, “Cape Fear,” and Episode 2, “Pale.”

Here is the synopsis for Season 10, Episode 1, “Cape Fear:”

"A struggling writer, his pregnant wife, and their daughter move to an isolated beach town for the winter, but once they’re settled in, the town’s true residents begin to make themselves known."

Here is the synopsis for Season 10, Episode 2, “Pale,” which airs right after the first installment:

"A quick fix for Harry’s writer’s block has unexpected side effects, and two eccentric locals offer Harry a helping hand."
