1428 Elm: The first thing I saw you in was The Haunting of Hill House (and you were great in it). What are the chances we will see you working with Mike Flanagan again?

Julian Hilliard: Thank you so much. If it’s up to me, 100%. He is so talented and was lovely to work with. All he has to do is ask, and I’ll be there! I’d love to show him how much I’ve learned since we worked together on Haunting. Mike just is the best!

1428 Elm: I know you were close with Olive Elise Abercrombie and Violet McGraw during the time you spent filming The Haunting of Hill House. Do you still see them sometimes?

Julian Hilliard: Yep. I’ve seen them both quite a bit over the last few years. I love both of them. This summer, it was really amazing because Olive and I were in the same city, so we got to hang out a ton. We also play video games and chat a lot. Olive is the coolest. I do miss Violet and hope to see her soon too!

1428 Elm: Now that you had one of your dreams come true because of WandaVision, what is the next dream role you would like to play?

Julian Hilliard: Well, first…more Marvel! I love playing Billy so much. Like you said, it’s a dream role. Next, definitely something Star Wars and Jurassic World. I do want to work with Mike Flanagan again, too, of course. I want to work with SpectreVision again too.

Filming Color Out of Space in Portugal was one of my favorite experiences. Bring on more Chaves too! And someday, I really want to be a voice on The Simpsons and Bob’s Burgers. I would love to do something in the Alien universe too. I could go on and on. I love being on set.

1428 Elm: How often do you get recognized when you are out and about, and how does it make you feel?

Julian Hilliard: I get recognized from time to time. Honestly, I like it a lot, because they’re always really kind and say nice things. The projects I’ve been on have some of the best fans out there. Horror fans and Marvel fans are so passionate about what they love. I love it.

1428 Elm: What do you have coming up next? Are you working on a new movie now, or have you recently finished one?

Julian Hilliard: I can’t answer any of that..haha. But, it’s very exciting! Okay, never mind, you know what, I’ll tell you. I’m working on…dang, there seems to be some interference…oh well, maybe next time. Thanks for talking to me again, Carla!

Whatever projects Julian is working on now or in the near future, we are sure he will continue to be successful.
