With the recent release of this year’s Netflix and Chills lineup, there are tons of new features we’re looking forward to watching that are sure to get you into the Halloween spirit. One example is There’s Someone Inside Your House, which is based on the best-selling novel by Stephanie Perkins. When is the film releasing on Netflix? Netflix released the film’s official trailer, a cool new poster, and some first-look images. Fans of the book have been waiting eagerly for the film ever since it was announced, and now it’s about to be here finally!

Like with any studio, Netflix horror movies can be a little hit or miss, but sometimes it’s enough to have a new scary film to look forward to, even if it isn’t a masterpiece. That said, this movie looks pretty awesome, and the source material is great, too, so it should be a hit!

The new film is kicking off what will be a good October for Netflix and horror fans alike. The movie premieres on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Netflix content releases at 12:00 a.m. PST or 3:00 a.m. EST.

There’s Someone Inside Your House synopsis: What is the movie about?

Makani Young (Sydney Park) relocates to a small town in Nebraska to live with her grandmother but soon finds herself and all of her friends terrorized by a killer who starts exposing their darkest secrets to the entire town. As if that’s not creepy enough, this killer is also known to wear life-like masks of his victim’s faces. Can Makani and her friends figure out who is attacking them and stop them before it’s too late?
