When does Raised by Wolves season 2 premiere on HBO Max? The streaming service recently released a brand new teaser and official first look at the acclaimed science fiction show’s highly-anticipated sophomore season.

Created by Aaron Guzikowski of Prisoners fame, the HBO Max original series Raised by Wolves is set to return early in the new year. Executive produced by Ridley Scott, who has recently been busy with his movies The Last Duel and House of Gucci, Raised by Wolves is a complex android-based sci-fi drama that premiered to much acclaim in 2020. The last episode aired on October 1, 2020, so it has been a long time since fans have gotten new content for the series.

Scott directed a few episodes of the first season, but it’s not clear if he’ll return in a directing capacity at all during the show’s sophomore run. The series stars Amanda Collin, Abubakar Salim, Winta McGrath, Niamh Algar and Travis Fimmel.

HBO Max also released the official synopsis for the second season:

"In season two of RAISED BY WOLVES, Android partners Mother (Amanda Collin) and Father (Abubakar Salim), along with their brood of six human children, join a newly formed atheistic colony in Kepler 22 b’s mysterious tropical zone. But navigating this strange new society is only the start of their troubles as Mother’s ‘natural child’ threatens to drive what little remains of the human race to extinction."

February is shaping up to be a good month for genre fans. Not only is the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre coming to Netflix in February, but the upcoming EPIX horror series From is also set to premiere that month. HBO Max is also releasing Raised by Wolves season 2 in the second month of the year. Raised by Wolves season 2 officially premieres on February 3, 2022. The first season dropped weekly, so I’m assuming the second season will follow a similar release plan.
