At the beginning of this article, I mentioned how much I love dark witch shows, so when Chilling Adventures of Sabrina first released I latched onto it for dear life and enjoyed it heartily. While the final seasons were met with more dissonance from fans, with a highly contentious series finale, I still recommend Chilling Adventures of Sabrina because it’s really entertaining series that takes the iconic character of Sabrina Spellman into truly dark and terrifying places.

Not to mention this show is very well cast. Michelle Gomez and Miranda Otto in the same series? Sign me up. And Kiernan Shipka is the perfect choice to play Sabrina.

Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa of Riverdale fame created this show based on the Archie comics character and also a series of comics he created where Sabrina serves Lucifer that shares the same title. Even though the show is over, Sabrina has appeared on Aguirre-Sacasa’s other dark Archie comics show, Riverdale, and could potentially return for more adventures in the future according to Shipka.
