Discovery+: Ghost Adventures team makes house calls in new series

Discovery+ has announced that Zak Bagans, Jay Wasley, Billey Tolley and Aaron Goodwin (the team members from Ghost Adventures) are starting another paranormal series with the streaming platform.

Ghost Adventures: House Calls will feature the paranormal investigators exploring ghostly activity in homes, in the hopes of assisting families who believe they are in danger from paranormal entities. The eight-part series will premiere on Thursday, May 19 with two episodes, and can be seen exclusively on discovery+.

First, the team talks to the frightened homeowners and reviews any evidence they can provide, then Goodwin, Tolley and Wasley meet the family in the home and set out to get to the bottom of whatever is going on. Using their equipment, the crew investigates thoroughly, while Zak monitors them from headquarters, providing tips and commentary based on what he is seeing.

After everything has been reviewed and analyzed, Zak has a one-on-one meeting with the homeowner(s) and gives them his best advice based on what the team has discovered.

Zak describes the new discovery+ series as being all about “helping people who are living in fear from something unknown.” He went on to say that the team’s goal is to “provide answers, advice and many times, validations.”

Episode Breakdown for Ghost Adventures: House Calls:

Series Premiere: Crisis in Long Beach (May 19) – Matt and Christina, a newlywed couple in Long Beach, California, believe an evil presence is trying to pull Matt away from his family. The Ghost Adventures team sense negative energy around the couple, and as Matt tells them about his recent experiences, unexplained red marks appear on his neck. Sensing that he and Christina are in danger, they search for answers.

Episode 2: Ellington Home Invasion (May 19) – The crew visits a home in Ellington, Connecticut after getting a request from terrified parents, who believe an evil shadow-like figure with hooves may cause harm to their young children.

Episode 3: Auburn in Hell (May 26) – Zak sends his team to Auburn, California to look into reported paranormal happenings on a farm. The activity includes ghostly attacks, frightening shadows and mysterious voices.

Episode 4: Wappingers Falls of Fear (June 2) – This episode takes us to an historic home in Wappingers Falls, New York, where a woman believes her boyfriend is being stalked by an dark being. When the woman tells of her strong attachment to the ghosts in the home, the team knows they must work fast.

Episode 5: Panic in Palatka (June 9) – The team visits a horse ranch in Palatka, Florida, where the new owner asks them to look into the area’s history of slavery and a possible curse that may be affecting the ranch.

Episode 6: Mayhem in Marquette (June 16)  – In Marquette, Kansas, a young woman expresses fear for her little brother, believing that spirits around her childhood home mean him harm. Are they the cause of the boy’s night terrors?

Episode 7: Jacksonville Family Curse (June 23) – Back in Florida, Zak sends his team to Jacksonville  to investigate a possible curse that is affecting a mother and daughter. Can the crew find out what’s going on before it is too late?

Episode 8: Chaos in Emmaus (June 30) – The crew investigates a home in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, where a large family is being menaced by a violent spirit, a “Shadow Man” who throws things and touches people.
