Who else is looking forward to The Boulet Brothers’ Halfway to Halloween TV Special coming up on Shudder? It’s just around the corner, and now Shudder has released the trailer, teaser and art work for the new special.

Shudder always observes Halfway to Halloween month in April, and it only makes sense that the Boulet Brothers would join in on the fun this year. Their Dragula and Dragula: Titans series on Shudder have received quite a following, and the Boulets themselves are known for throwing spectacular Halloween balls.

The new special is described as a classic retro variety show, and will be hosted from the Boulet Brothers’ haunted manor. Tune in for musical performances, skits and an all-star lineup of guest stars, including Kevin Smith, David Dastmalchian, Emily Hampshire, Taran Killam, Matthew Lillard, Jorge Garcia, Barbara Crampton, steve Agee, Felissa Rose, Katya, Derek Mears, Twin Temple, and Kendra Onixx, Koco Caine and Melissa Befierce of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula fame.

Said the Boulets:

"As spring arrives and people start planning for fun times in the sun, we feel it’s our duty to bring a storm cloud filled with witches, goblins, and jack-o-lanterns and put it right over their beach day, and that’s exactly what we’re doing with our Halfway to Halloween TV Special."

Swanthula and Dracmorda also reminded us that both horror and Halloween are in style year-round. As someone who keeps a small collection of Halloween décor out all year long, I heartily agree with that sentiment
