AMC Networks has finally released the premiere date of new series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, along with new images.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is the newest upcoming series in The Walking Dead Universe. Norman Reedus’s portrayal of Daryl has made him possibly the most popular character in the history of the series, so his spinoff series has been highly anticipated.

It’s fitting that the announcement was made today, which is Bastille Day, since the new series is set in France. The images that were released today by AMC show scenes that were shot in and around Paris.

In The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon:

"“Daryl (Reedus) washes ashore in France and struggles to piece together how he got there and why. The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.”"

When does The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon premiere?

Fans of The Walking Dead (and the character of Daryl) can tune in on Sunday, September 10 at 9:00 p.m. ET on both AMC and AMC+.
