First 7 seasons of Fear the Walking Dead will stream on AMC+!
By Carla Davis
AMC+ subscribers should be happy to hear this news: The first seven seasons of Fear the Walking Dead will be available to stream soon.
Fear the Walking Dead was the first spinoff of The Walking Dead, and at the time of its first episode, it was the number one cable series premiere of all time. The final season (season eight, for those keeping track) debuted this spring, and the final six episodes will premiere this fall.
If you haven’t been keeping track, here is how each season of Fear the Walking Dead went:
Season one took us back to the beginning of the zombie outbreak. Set in LA, it introduced us to Madison, her teenage children Nick and Alicia, and her fiancee Travis, Travis’s son Chris and his mother (Travis’s ex) Liza. We were introduced to other characters as the outbreak kicked in, and as in nearly every zombie storyline, group dynamics led to drama and sometimes chaos.
Season two found the characters at sea, as Alicia secretly communicates via radio with “Jack”, who claims to also be on board a boat with a group of survivors.
Season three took the action to the US-Mexican border, and some of our heroes end up at Broke Jaw Ranch, while others are in a reinforced hotel.
- Season four introduced The Walking Dead character Morgan (Lennie James), and brought us into the same timeline as TWD.
- In season five, Morgan continued to be a leader for the group, encouraging them to stay hopeful and building a strong sense of community. The character of Dwight from The Walking Dead also joined the group.
- Season six found the group splintered by the evil Virginia, and left Morgan in a dire predicament.
- Season seven saw the aftermath of Teddy’s detonation of nuclear warheads. Now the threat of nuclear fallout joins the threat of the undead. It also brought about the unexpected return of a character we thought had died.
