28 Years Later teaser contains hidden message in Morse code

Sony has followed up the recently released poster for 28 Years Later with the movie's first teaser. Mind you, it is indeed a teaser, as it gives barely anything away except for a few quick stills and a hidden message in Morse code. Sleuths online have sussed out that the transmission is "Tuesday," suggesting the official, full-length trailer for the long-awaited movie will be released then.
The 28 Years Later account on X (formerly Twitter) posted the teaser, which you can watch below. Sony hasn't uploaded it to their YouTube account yet.
So, what exactly does the 13-second video entail? Several quick images of the red skulls seen in the new poster, an island, and a crucifixion. Some people have said it looks like crucified zombies, suggesting that perhaps there is something ritualistic or cult-like happening on this island. Given that the sequel is titled The Bone Temple, there may be something to that theory.
As for the island itself, The Hollywood Reporter says it could be the island of Lindisfarne in Northumberland, where survivors could be hiding out as the Rage Virus continues to ravage the world. By the end of the 2007 film 28 Weeks Later, the virus had spread across Great Britain. An island might be the only way to get sanctuary, though I doubt it would remain that way for long.
28 Years Later sees the return of original creators Danny Boyle and Alex Garland to the franchise. Boyle directs and Garland writes the upcoming film, the first in a planned trilogy. The sequel, 28 Years Later Part II: The Bone Temple will be directed by Nia DaCosta (Candyman).
Cillian Murphy will return as Jim and he'll be joined by franchise newcomers Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ralph Fiennes, Jack O'Connell, and Jodie Comer.
Fiennes previously spoke about what to expect from his character and the movie's storyline, which will center on a boy attempting to help his dying mother, leading her through dangerous terrain in search of a doctor. It sounds like Fiennes will be playing that doctor, and he says his character is "a force good."
28 Years Later will be released exclusively in theaters on June 20, 2025.
