In honor of Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches season 2 premiering in January, AMC Networks has unveiled an extended look at the new season and announced a magical lineup of witchy content across its various platforms!
The season 2 premiere is set for January 5, 2025. In honor of that anticipated return date, the episode will debut on AMC and AMC+, in addition to all five of the network's linear networks: BBC America, IFC, Sundance TV, and WEtv.
On December 19, AMC dropped an extended, four-minute preview of the second season, including cast interviews and never-before-seen clips from the upcoming season.
You can watch the entire video below and it will be available on AMC+ starting on December 22.
The actors tease that this season will be "very dark and edgy," as the characters are truly embracing the darkness and magic of the story. We'll be introduced to a new powerful Mayfair witch and see a brand new side of Lasher.

As mentioned, AMC is also rolling out a collection of mystical series and witch-centric movies to watch on its platforms, such as Shudder, ALLBLK, and AMC+.
- A Discovery of Witches - Another popular series based on the book series by Deborah Harkness, this supernatural drama stars Matthew Goode and Teresa Palmer and is now streaming on AMC+, Sundance Now, and Acorn TV.
- Two Witches - This sinister horror film is about a malevolent witch interfering with the lives of two women. Comes to Shudder on Monday, January 6.
- Domino Day: Lone Witch - Siena Kelly plays a powerful with with a secret in this 2024 series now streaming on AMC+, ALLBLK, and Sundance Now.
- Sanctuary: A Witch's Tale - Following the Mayfair Witches season 2 premiere, AMC will run the start of this newer witchy series, which will also be re-released on AMC+ and Sundance Now, plus debut on Acorn TV starting on Sunday, January 5.
- RLJE's Burying the Ex - Rowan Mayfair actress Alexandra Daddario stars in this horror-comedy film alongside Twilight star Ashley Greene and Anton Yelchin (Star Trek). Streaming on AMC+ starting Friday, December 27.

In the second season, Rowan Mayfair (Daddario) must contend with the fact that she has given birth to the demonic entity known as Lasher (Jack Huston). She will be tested in new and challenging ways, forced to fight for her family no matter the cost. New cast members this season include Thora Birch, Ben Feldman, and Ted Levine.
