AMC Networks is adding a new series to Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe, and it will be joining Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire and Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches. Those two series (obviously) place their focus on vampires and witches, and the new series, called Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order will take things up a notch (as you will be able to see in the new trailer, below).

The first season of Talamasca will consist of six episodes. A secret society called the Talamasca is made up of men and women who are tasked with keeping a close watch on all of the vampires, witches and other assorted creatures around the world. It’s based on Rice’s series of books known as The Vampire Chronicles.

Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order will premiere on AMC and AMC+

The first episode will debut on Sunday, October 26 at 9:00 ET, with the remaining episodes premiering each Sunday after.

In Talamasca, Guy Anatole is just about to graduate from law school when a member of a secretive agency called the Talamasca approaches him. He is told that the agency is charged with monitoring and protecting humanity from creatures that dwell in the supernatural world. As it turns out, the Talamasca have been monitoring Guy himself since he was a child. Upon discovering this, Guy “falls headlong into a world of secret agents and immortal beings who, up to now, have maintained a fragile balance with the mortal world.”

The series cast also includes William Fichtner as Jasper, a man who has assumed control over the New York Motherhouse of the  Talasmasca. Maisie Richardson-Sellers (Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens) is Olive, a “beguiling and ambitious agent of the Talamasca,” Celine Buckens (Bridgerton)plays the strong-willed Doris, who lives on a houseboat with a coven of witches, and Jason Schwartzman (Fargo) plays Burton, a charming vampire who lives alone in an Upper West Side penthouse..
