Anya Taylor-Joy is undoubtedly one of our favorite modern-day scream queens, with standout roles in films like The Witch and Split solidifying her as a dominant force in horror. Though she occasionally explores different genres, she always somehow makes her way back to the horror world. It’s no wonder her fans can’t get enough of her, eagerly anticipating every new project she takes on. And we're right there with them!

While many would argue that The Witch is Taylor-Joy's best horror movie to date, we'd also like to add that her performance in The Menu deserves just as much recognition and praise. In fact, we’d even argue it’s her second-best horror movie, and we're pretty sure we're not the only ones who feel this way. If you haven't watched this incredible horror comedy yet, the good news is that you can currently stream it on your favorite streamer. Of course, we're talking about Netflix.

The streaming giant added this movie to its platform on Jan. 29, and it quickly rose up its top 10 movie list. As of Feb. 11, it's currently ranked at the No. 4 spot, and it doesn't look like it will be dropping from the list anytime soon. The movie's high ranking on the list means that tons of people are watching it on the streaming platform, and now that you know it's available, there's no reason to miss out!

The Menu is described as a black comedy horror flick. Mark Mylod directed the film from a screenplay co-written by Seth Reiss and Will Tracy. In the movie, Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult star as a young couple who are invited to dine at an exclusive, high-end restaurant on a remote island only to soon find themselves trapped in a nightmarish dining experience orchestrated by the restaurant’s mysterious celebrity chef.

Taylor-Joy stars in one of the leading roles as Margot Mills, while Hoult takes on the other leading role as Tyler Ledford. Ralph Fiennes plays the renowned chef, Julian Slowik. Also joining these amazingly talented actors in the cast are Hong Chau, Janet McTeer, Judith Light, John Leguizamo, Paul Adelstein, Aimee Carrero, and many others.

What makes The Menu such an entertaining watch are the strong performances from the ensemble cast, its dark humor, beautiful visuals, gripping and unpredictable story, and its sharp social commentary. It's not your typical horror movie where you just sit back and wait for scares. Instead, it challenges you to think while keeping you on edge. If you’re in the mood for a horror movie that’s both entertaining and intellectually stimulating, The Menu is the perfect choice. You won't be disappointed!

Check out the exciting official trailer below, and you'll get why we're calling this film a must-watch!

Unfortunately, The Menu will not reside on Netflix forever as it's a licensed film. That's why it's important you get to it as soon as possible. Don't worry. We'll share its departure date once Netflix announces it. But for now, you can enjoy the horror movie while it's still available!
