Hot on the heels of the news that Blumhouse's Wolf Man is headed to Peacock later this month, another 2025 Blumhouse horror flick is arriving even sooner. The psychological horror The Woman in the Yard is set to hit digital platforms tomorrow, bringing the scares straight to your screen!
On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, The Woman in the Yard will be available to rent or purchase on digital retailers such as Amazon Prime Video, Fandango at Home, Apple TV+, etc. The film is currently available for pre-order on these platforms for $24.99 (before taxes). Upon release, it's expected to remain priced at $24.99 to buy, with rental options likely coming in around $19.99. These estimated prices are based on standard pricing for new digital releases.
But that's not all! The Woman in the Yard has also received a physical media release date. Universal is reportedly set to release the film on Blu-ray and DVD on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. Even better? The physical editions will include special features, which we’ve outlined below.

Jaume Collet-Serra, who is best known for his directorial work on other horror films such as House of Wax, Orphan and The Shallows, helmed The Woman in the Yard from a screenplay written by Sam Stefanak (F Is for Family). Blumhouse Productions, Homegrown Pictures, and Ombra Films were the production companies behind the movie with Universal Pictures as distributor.
Danielle Deadwyler (The Piano Lesson, The Harder They Fall) takes center stage as Ramona, a grieving disabled woman who must find the strength to protect her children from a relentless, enigmatic woman dressed in black who appears on their front lawn and begins to terrorize them. Also joining Deadwyler in the cast are Okwui Okpokwasili, Peyton Jackson, Estella Kahiha, and Russell Hornsby.
