Everyone's gearing up for the long-awaited release of the supernatural horror film Final Destination: Bloodlines, and the newly dropped trailer has only increased the excitement. With the theatrical release just around the corner, fans are buzzing with anticipation for the next chapter in the franchise. It's been 14 years since the last installment's release, so the return of the Final Destination series has fans eager to see how the deadly franchise will evolve.

The upcoming horror movie is set to hit theaters on May 16, so we still have some time before it comes out. To hold people over until its release, Warner Bros. has decided to drop the gripping official trailer that will surely have viewers on the edge of their seats!

In the 2-minute and 24-second trailer, Death is back with a vengeance and is more relentless than ever. Iris, who once cheated Death, has continued to evade its grasp, but now the malevolent force has returned to finish what it started. No one is safe. Death has come to collect the souls that were never meant to exist. Specifically, Iris's children and grandchildren, and it will stop at nothing to ensure the inevitable occurs.

One of Iris's family members, a college student named Stefanie, is tormented by a violent, recurring nightmare that concerns her family's fate. This leads her to return home to speak with the one person who may hold the key to breaking the cycle. Someone who has knowledge of the dark forces at play. That person is Iris. With Death closing in, it ultimately becomes a race against time to find a way to stop it before it claims their lives and those of their loved ones.

Like previous Final Destination movies, it's highly likely that Death will claim some lives in the new film. It'll be interesting to see the different ways in which Death attempts to claim its victims, which we're expecting will be more creative and gruesome than the last.

Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein directed Final Destination: Bloodlines from a screenplay written by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor. The cast is made up of Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Rya Kihlstedt, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger, and Tony Todd. This is Todd's last film appearance, reprising his role as William Bludworth from previous Final Destination films.

Final Destination: Bloodlines is slated to be released in theaters on May 16, 2025. Don't forget to save the date!
