Here are the remaining three games we'd like to see played in Squid Game season 3

Gi-hun might've won the deadly competition in season 1, but he's back with a vengeance in the latest installment of the hit horror series. After finding out that the Front Man is continuing his ruthless games, Gi-hun decides to find a way back into the competition to end them for good.

Like season 1, the new competition consists of six games. However, we only saw the players play three of them in Squid Game season 2: Red Light, Green Light, Six-legged Pentathlon, and Mingle. In a mid-credits scene, a fourth game was teased for the upcoming third season, and it looks like a twist on a Korean children's game that has already been played in the series.

We can't wait to see the third and final season, and we can only imagine what last three games will be featured. We've even come up with a list of three games that we'd like to see the players play in Squid Game season 3 and shared them below.

Spoilers from Squid Game season 2 ahead!

New version of Red Light, Green Light

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the show's creator Hwang Dong-hyuk confirmed that a new game was teased in the Squid Game season 2 mid-credits scene. While he doesn't share the game's name or give any other information about it, fans immediately began speculating that it's a twisted version of Red Light, Green Light, a game that has been featured in both seasons 1 and 2.

What made fans think it would be a new version of Red Light, Green Light, was the Young-hee doll and her doll boyfriend, Cheol-su. Young-hee has only ever appeared in one game in the series, and that's Red Light, Green Light. Cheol-su is a new doll, and he'll probably be used in the same way as Young-hee in the new game. They'll probably be used as motion sensors. The mid-credits scene also featured a set of red and green lights with a train crossing sign. The red light glows brightly at first before turning off. The green light then flashes on.

Three players are also shown in the mid-credits scene, but it's unclear if that means the game will require teams. Red Light, Green Light is the most iconic Korean children's game to be featured in Squid Game, so a new take on it would be pretty cool.

Malttukbakgi

Malttukbakgi is a Korean children's game known for its fun and often chaotic gameplay. It's a team-based game and involves two teams playing against each other. The first team has one person stand against the wall while the rest of the team lines up behind them, with their heads tucked between the legs of the person in front, forming a long "horse" shape.

The opposing team then takes turns jumping onto the backs of the first team, using as much force as possible. If anyone falls, that team loses. If everyone remains standing, the person against the wall and the one in front play a game of rock, paper, scissors to decide the winner. This game will see the elimination of many players.

Dakssaum (Chicken Fight)

Another Korean children's game we'd like to see featured in Squid Game season 3 is Dakssaum, also known as Korean Chicken Fight. This can be a one vs. one or team-based game. In the game, each player must stand on one leg while holding their other ankle with both hands. Then, hopping on one leg, they try to knock their opponent off balance by pushing them using their body. The last person standing on one leg wins.

Who knows, maybe we'll see an increase in the number of games played next season. Maybe one of the games will be similar to the Six-legged Pentathlon in season 2, where the players play several mini games in one big game. I guess we'll have to wait until Squid Game season 3 is released to find out. The third and final season is confirmed to be released on Netflix sometime in 2025.
