Guess who's next up to join Darren Lynn Bousman’s The Monster. It's Jeepers Creepers star Gina Philips! This will be her first on-screen role in eight years, and we're so glad that she chose a horror film as her comeback.

She joins already-announced cast members Djimon Hounsou, Lauren LaVera, and Mia Healey. While she's best known for starring as Trish Jenner in the horror flick Jeepers Creepers, Philips also had recurring roles in TV shows such as Ally McBeal, Boston Public and Hawaii.

Also newly joining The Monster cast are U.S. rapper Jacob Lukas Anderson aka Prof, Alicia Witt, Neal McDonough, Michael Lombardi, David Call, Victor Del Rio, Cedric Benjamin, Zac Jaffee, Renés Rivera, Hari Bhaskar, and Kristina Krasniqi. Unfortunately, it's unknown at the moment who will be playing who in the film, but we'll let you know once we find out. Production is currently underway in Danbury, Connecticut.

Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw franchise) is directing The Monster from a script Jonathan Bernstein and James Greer co-wrote. In addition, Lee Nelson and David Tish of Envision Media Arts are producing alongside Saw producer Mark Burg. Paramount’s Republic Pictures label has acquired the global rights to the film.

Now, boom, here's the movie's plot. We follow two millennials who make quick cash by illegally renting out high-end apartments they don't own in New York City to unsuspecting tenants. While their operation initially runs smoothly, things take a dangerous turn when they encounter an apartment owner with a hidden dark secret.
