Lestat's world tour is shaping up to be one for the ages. AMC has shared an awesome new poster for its acclaimed series Interview with the Vampire to announce that it is officially on track to return in 2026.

As you can see in the poster embedded below, we get a little peek at what Lestat's on-stage shenanigans will be like. The artwork shows a close-up of what appears to be a pool of blood on a stage with a microphone nearby and the mic cord shaped to read "2026."

This poster follows the initial video teaser that AMC previously shared, showing Daniel Molloy prepping to interview Lestat, who is in full-on diva mode while on tour. That video also shared a snippet of Lestat's song "Long Face." It sounds like actor Sam Reid himself will be singing. The video is a total delight for Lestat fans as it shows the vampire acting out in his typical flamboyant manner, complete with bloodied hands and plenty of attitude.

For season 3, the gothic horror drama will be adapted from Anne Rice's novel The Vampire Lestat, the second book in the Vampire Chronicles series. In the book, we follow Lestat in the 1980s after a rock and roll group wakes him from his long sleep.

Earlier this month, Reid and series producer Mark Johnson teased what fans can expect from season 3 at Deadline's Contenders Television. Reid assured readers that they plan to honor the second book, especially because it "opens in this very extreme confronting different way." Series composer Daniel Hart is writing Lestat's songs for the show.

Series creator Rolin Jones is leading the season 3 writers room, which is at work right now. They'll be shooting the new season in Toronto sometime later this year.

Many are hopeful that the upcoming season of the series will introduce the fan-favorite character Akasha, also known as "The Great Mother" of the vampires, most notably played by Aaliyah in the 2002 movie Queen of the Damned.

Interview with the Vampire is just one of several shows in AMC's ever-expanding Anne Rice Universe. The network also recently renewed Mayfair Witches for a third season and the show will be moving to Salem to embrace the area's history. There's also a third series, The Talamasca: The Secret Order, which will follow the mysterious world of the supernatural agency known as the Talamasca. It will be released later this year and stars Nicholas Denton, William Fichtner, Elizabeth McGovern, and Maise Richardson-Sellers.

Needless to say, avid Rice readers have plenty to look forward to as AMC continues to grow this fantastical universe for viewers.
