Sink your teeth into Abigail when the acclaimed 2024 horror comedy makes its way to Peacock later this month. For those who have been waiting patiently for the vampire film to make its streaming debut, you won't have to wait much longer! Abigail drops on Peacock on Friday, July 19.

Releasing theatrically on April 19 (after making its initial debut at the Overlook Film Festival on April 7), Abigail will have taken exactly three months to stream, which is about par for the course with most theatrical-to-streaming debuts nowadays.

Peacock's release times aren't as strict as Netflix's usual 12 a.m. PT/3 a.m. ET, but I imagine Abigail will be available that Friday morning, making Abigail the ideal Friday or Saturday night movie pick for those looking to relax and enjoy something entertaining without venturing out to the cinema.

Abigail is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the same guys behind Ready or Not, Scream (2022), and Scream VI. Based on the Universal Monsters classic Dracula's Daughter, Abigail follows a group of criminals tasked with kidnapping the daughter of one of the city's most powerful men in exchange for a multi-million dollar ransom. Holding her captive in an isolated manor, the girl's captors soon learn she's a centuries-old vampire out for blood.

Kathryn Newton, Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens, Alisha Weir, Angus Cloud, Giancarlo Esposito, Kevin Durand, and Will Catlett star.

Abigail is now available on digital and DVD/Blu-ray

For those who don't want to wait until July 19 to watch Abigail on Peacock, the movie is available to rent or purchase through other means. It was released digitally on May 7 and is now available to rent for $5.99 or purchase for $19.99.

Physical media collectors can pick up the collector's edition Blu-ray copy of the movie, which includes fun extras like a gag reel, deleted and extended scenes, behind-the-scenes featurettes, and a feature commentary track with directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett, and editor Michael P. Shawyer. The Blu-ray version also includes the DVD and a digital copy. A regular DVD version is also available.
