The second episode opens with Agatha rushing to pack clothes to escape town before the Salem Seven arrive. But she stops when the teen boy, who we now know as "Teen," asks her to take him to the Witches' Road. Agatha pretends not to know what the Witches Road' is at first, but Teen calls her bluff. According to Teen, the Witches' Road will give a person the thing they want the most, but only if they make it to the end. Teen tells Agatha that he's determined to make it to the end, but Agatha still isn't quite impressed yet.

This is when he starts laying it on thick. He begins sharing how big of a fan he is of hers. He also tells Agatha that he's the one who saved her from Wanda's spell. This catches Agatha's attention. She questions him on why he needs her help if he was able to break the spell. Teen tells her that studying magic could only take him so far. He wants to be able to perform magic, which requires him to actually possess magical abilities. He believes that he'll be granted power if he makes it to the end of the Witches' Road. The same thing Agatha wants. However, this still isn't enough to convince her to help.

It's not until Teen mentions the Salem Seven being after her that Agatha finally gives in. Agatha then asks Teen his real name, but when he tries to answer, his mouth is sewn shut with a magical string. Could he be under some sort of a spell? It appears so. Although she's intrigued by this, Agatha doesn't say anything to Teen about what just happened. Instead, she agrees to take him to the Witches' Road. But first, they need a coven to gain access to the Road.

Their first stop is a psychic reading shop where Agatha tries to convince divination witch Lilia Calderu to join her coven to embark on the Witches' Road. While it seems like Lilia can't be convinced, she suddenly has a vision of a Three of Pentacles and starts writing down the names of the four witches needed to complete Agatha's coven on a piece of paper. Since one of the names on the list is hers, she has no choice but to join Agatha's coven.

The next stop on Agatha and Teen's journey to form a coven is a wellness shop run by sorceress and potions expert Jennifer Kale. Jennifer and Agatha have bad blood and are both powerless, but Agatha is desperate to get her to join her coven. In the end, it takes Agatha and Teen throwing Jennifer's legal troubles in her face for her to agree to join the coven. Jennifer serves as the potion witch.

As they leave the wellness shop, Teen tells Agatha that they have two more witches to recruit. However, Agatha tells him they only need one more to complete the coven. Teen disagrees with Agatha and tries to take the piece of paper with the witches' names out of her hands, but Agatha quickly throws the paper into her mouth and swallows it. Who is the last witch on the list that Agatha doesn't want in her coven? It has to be another witch with whom she has bad blood.

Their next stop is the mall, where they try to recruit blood witch/protection witch Alice Wu-Gulliver, the daughter of Lorna Wu, a powerful witch who is said to have been lost on the Witches' Road. In the end, they're able to convince Alice to join the coven. How? Well, they tell her that if they survive the Witches' Road together, she'll be able to find out what happened to her mother.

As they make their way back to Westview, Agatha asks Teen where he's from. But as soon as Teen opens his mouth, his voice becomes muffled, and Agatha can't hear anything he's saying. Once again, Agatha is intrigued by this but doesn't mention it to Teen.

Back at Agatha's house, Agatha and Teen prepare for the other witches to arrive so that they can travel the Witches' Road together. But once they all show up, they immediately question Agatha about the fourth witch, who is not in attendance. This is the witch on the list that Agatha was hiding from Teen. A witch who possesses earth magic is needed if they want a good attempt at surviving the Road, and that's the Green Witch.

Agatha still doesn't want to contact the Green Witch for some unknown reason, so she recruits one of her neighbors to join her coven instead. It's the neighbor from episode 1 who hit Teen with their car, Mrs. Hart, aka Sharon.

With the coven somewhat assembled, they gather in Agatha's basement to sing the Witches Road ballad in order to open up a portal. As they're singing the song, Teen looks out a window and notices the powerful Salem Seven approaching the house. Meanwhile, Agatha and the other witches argue about the song not working. As the Salem Seven make their way into the house, Agatha tries to convince her coven to blast her with some of their powers to stop them, but they refuse to do so.

Suddenly, a portal opens on the ground beneath their feet. Teen runs to the basement and tells the others to go through the portal quickly. He goes through the portal first, followed by the other witches. Now that they're at the start of the Witches' Road, this is where things get really interesting.
