Horror fanatics, are you having a hard time finding something good to watch on Netflix? If so, we've got you covered! The streamer has a pretty good selection of suspenseful creature features on its platform, so we decided to share a list of some of the best ones down below. Naturally, we'd start with one of the most recently released creature features, Under Paris.

Under Paris (2024)

Under Paris takes place in the summer of 2024. The World Triathlon Championships is being held on the Seine River in Paris for the first time, so everyone is pumped up for it to start. But there's a massive bloodthirsty shark lurking in the deepest depths of the river. Now, it's up to a marine biologist, an environmental activist, and a river police commander to prevent a bloodbath from happening.

65 (2023)

65 stars Adam Driver as Mills, an astronaut from a faraway planet who crash-lands on Earth 65 million years ago. Initially believing he's the only survivor, he soon discovers another survivor, a young girl named Koa. Together, they try their best to traverse through a prehistoric Earth filled with dangerous and aggressive dinosaurs.

The Swarm (2021)

The Swarm revolves around a struggling single mother named Virginie who begins raising locusts so that they can produce high-protein flour for her to sell. However, after discovering that the locusts have an unusual appetite for blood, Virginie begins secretly feeding them her own blood so that she can continue to provide for her family. But things go terribly wrong when the locusts start to become increasingly aggressive and difficult to control, feeding on any and everything they can find.

Shadow in the Cloud (2020)

Set during WWII, the movie follows a young female flight officer named Maude Garrett, who is tasked with traveling with a top-secret package from New Zealand to Samoa while onboard a B-17 bomber with an all-male crew. However, her mission takes an unexpected turn when she discovers an evil gremlin on board the flight too.

47 Meters Down: Uncaged (2019)

47 Meters Down: Uncaged centers around a group of teenage girls who, while exploring a sunken Mayan city, find themselves trapped in the underwater caverns with a bunch of deadly great white sharks. Sophie Nélisse, Corinne Foxx, Brianne Tju, Sistine Stallone, Davi Santos, Khylin Rhambo, Brec Bassinger, Nia Long, and John Corbett all star in this suspenseful creature feature.

The Ritual (2018)

To honor a recently deceased friend, a group of college friends reunite for a hiking trip in the Swedish wilderness, only to soon find themselves in a fight for their lives when they're stalked by a mysterious, monstrous being rooted in Norse mythology. The film stars Rafe Spall, Arsher Ali, Robert James-Collier, and Sam Troughton.

Backcountry (2014)

Backcountry stars Jeff Roop and Missy Peregrym as a young couple who decide to go camping in the woods for the weekend, only for their trip to take a dangerous turn when they encounter a large, aggressive black bear ready to attack.
