Michael B. Jordan plays twins and confronts evil forces in new trailer for Sinners
Remember when vampire movies and shows were all the hype back in the late 2000s? Well, it looks like they might be making their resurgence soon with the release of Ryan Coogler's upcoming vampire flick Sinners. Today, Warner Bros. Pictures released the first official trailer for the mysterious horror film, and the two minutes spent watching it was definitely worth it! You can check it out above.
We first learned of this horror film back in January 2024 when it was revealed that Oscar nominee Ryan Coogler and Emmy nominee Michael B. Jordan would be reuniting to make a new original film with Coogler writing, directing, and producing, and Jordan starring. Coogler and Jordan are longtime collaborators, having previously worked together on movies such as Fruitvale Station, Black Panther and Creed.
Not much was known about the film at the time, but now we have an official title and trailer. On Sept. 23, Warner Bros. revealed the movie's title in a short clip. The clip also announced that the first official trailer would be dropping the next day, which we shared above.
Based on the movie's logline, Sinners will follow twin brothers who return to their hometown for a fresh new start only to discover that a terrifying evil awaits them. Jordan stars in dual roles as the twin brothers. The rest of the cast includes Oscar nominee Hailee Steinfeld (Dickinson, Arcane), Jack O’Connell (Back to Black, Ferrari), Wunmi Mosaku (Passenger, Lovecraft Country), Jayme Lawson (The Penguin, The Woman King), Omar Benson Miller (True Lies, The Unicorn), and Delroy Lindo (UnPrisoned, Da 5 Bloods).
Warner Bros. also shared the movie's official poster. Check it out below!
Joining Coogler as a producer of the film are Sev Ohanian and Zinzi Coogler. In addition, executive producers include Ludwig Göransson, Will Greenfield, and Rebecca Cho.
Sinners is set to be released in theaters nationwide on March 7, 2025, by Warner Bros. Pictures. It will also be released internationally beginning March 2025. Make sure to save the date!
