Clock (2023)
Directed and written by: Alexis Jacknow
Who would've thought we'd see Glee actress Dianna Agron in a horror film? In Clock, she stars as Ella, a 37-year-old woman who has no interest in having kids but is constantly pressured by her friends and family to have some. She eventually gives in and seeks medical help to try to change herself and fix her seemingly broken biological clock. But after undergoing a set of dangerous psychological experiments and taking mysterious meds, she begins having horrific hallucinations and starts acting erratically. Jay Ali, Melora Hardin, Saul Rubinek, Grace Porter, and Stefan Sims also join Agron in the cast.
If you're sensitive to themes of body horror, you'll definitely be disturbed by this movie. There were a few times where I literally jumped while watching this film, but it was the gruesome body horror that did it for me.
