Spider One’s new horror film Little Bites to hit theaters in October 2024
A theatrical release date for Spider One's (Allegoria, Bury the Bride) upcoming horror flick Little Bites has been set. RLJE Films and Shudder have acquired worldwide rights to the film, and RLJE has decided to set a release in theaters for Oct. 4, 2024. The movie will also be available to stream on Shudder at a later date.
We first learned of Little Bites back in June 2023 when it was announced that mother-and-son duo Cher and Chaz Bono would be coming together to executive produce it. Spider One was revealed to be writing the script and would also be directing, with OneFox Productions producing.
Besides being an executive producer, Bono also stars in the horror flick. The plot revolves around a widower and mother who, to protect her daughter from a flesh-eating monster, sacrifices her own body by letting the creature feed off of her. Meanwhile, she keeps her daughter hidden far away at her grandmother’s.
Krsy Fox (Allegoria, Bury the Bride) stars in the leading role of the young widow and mother, Mindy. Young actress Elizabeth Caro (Ariel: Mermaid Tales, Disney Junior's Ariel) plays the role of Mindy's daughter, Alice, while Jon Sklaroff (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Gifted) portrays the creature, Agyar. Horror icons Barbara Crampton, Heather Langenkamp, and Bonnie Aarons also star, along with Lyndsi LaRose and Mark Kelly.
In a statement to Deadline, One expressed his excitement at getting to work with Fox and Sklaroff and teaming up with Shudder and RLJE Films again.
"Krsy Fox and Jon Sklaroff delivered beyond my wildest expectations with their portrayals of Mindy and Agyar and I can’t wait to once again team up with Shudder/RLJE and let horror fans to sink their teeth into Little Bites."
