If you're a fan of horror anthology films like the recent Hauntology or the V/H/S franchise, you'll want to keep your eye on the latest release from Cranked Up Films. Tenants is a frightening installment in the world of scary anthologies, this time featuring seven stories of terror set within one apartment building where something awful lurks around every corner.

In association with 13th Floor Productions and Wallick Productions, Cranked Up Films recently revealed that Tenants will arrive on VOD on Tuesday, September 24, meaning the film is officially out now and available to rent or purchase!

The story centers on Mary O'Neil's character, Jonie. Jonie wakes up in an unfamiliar apartment complex while searching for her lost sister. To make matters worse, Jonie soon learns that a mysterious shadow figure is stalking her. As Jonie traverses the various floors, the building's tenants begin facing their own sinister horror stories from behind closed doors.

Based on the official trailer, there will be significant gore, at least one freaky-looking spider monstrosity, and a whole lot more twisted concepts.

Check out the official red-band trailer below.

The trailer looks bloody and frightening, but the ending suggests a little humor thrown into the mix, too. That's one thing I've always loved about anthology series and movies: They give us a broad mix of stories and genres.

O'Neil is known for starring in films like Malum and. She's joined by a cast that includes her Malum co-star Clarke Wolf, Christa Collins (Aileen Wuornos: American Boogeywoman), Tara Erickson (American Satan), Myles Crawford (Adam+Eve), Douglas Vermeeren (Black Creek), Kathryne Isabelle Easton (Valleyheart), and Rib Hills (Reminisce).

"I am thrilled to share the film! It had a lot of moving parts executed by the best cast and crew. I’m so lucky to have worked with such immensely talented people to bring this labor of love to the screen."

In addition to starring, O'Neil also co-wrote and produced for the film, which features segments directed by Buz Wallick ("You're Not Supposed to Be Here", "Hoarder", "Need Anything"), Jonathan Louis Lewis ("Laundry Day"), Sean Mesler ("Acting Rash", "The Photograph"), and Blake Reigle ("Nah").

Tenants received a worldwide release on major digital retailers on Tuesday, September 24. You can rent or purchase the movie now on demand.
