Calling all horror fanatics! Are you looking for more horror content to watch? If so, you should head on over to Netflix. The popular streamer has many horror movies to choose from. In fact, to make things a little easier for you, we decided to share some movie recommendations. Below, you'll find a list of six British horror films currently streaming on Netflix that are a must-watch.

The Strays (2023)

The Strays follows Neve, a privileged Black woman whose seemingly perfect life gets upended when two strangers show up in her affluent suburban town. She's convinced they don't belong there, and their constant presence threatens the privileged life she's worked so hard to build.

The Ritual (2018)

Based on Adam Nevill's 2011 novel of the same name, The Ritual revolves around a group of old college friends who reunite for a hiking trip in the Scandinavian wilderness in memory of their friend who was tragically killed in a robbery incident six months prior. But as they venture deeper into the forest, they eventually encounter a menacing ancient entity that begins stalking them.

Choose or Die (2022)

Choose or Die follows two friends, Kayla and Issac, who decide to play a mysterious 1980s survival horror game in hopes of winning an unclaimed $100,000 cash prize. But this isn't an ordinary game. It's cursed, and Kayla and Issac soon find themselves trapped in a nightmarish scenario where they're forced to make terrifying decisions that directly affects reality.

Malevolent (2018)

Malevolent centers around Angela and Jackson, a brother-and-sister duo who work as a team of scam artists by running a fake paranormal investigation business. Their business seems to be running smoothly until they take on a new assignment involving a real haunted estate. While on the job, they begin to experience terrifying and unexplainable phenomena that causes them to start losing a grip on reality. With actual supernatural activity at play, Angela and Jackson find their lives in grave danger.

Under the Shadow (2016)

  • Cast: Narges Rashidi, Avin Manshadi, Bobby Naderi, Ray Haratian, Arash Marandi

The movie is set in 1980s Tehran during the Iran-Iraq War and follows a mother and daughter struggling to cope while living in an apartment building. As the war intensifies, a missile strikes the building, causing significant damage. Then, the daughter starts to exhibit strange behavior, leading the mother to believe that malevolent spirits somehow invaded their home when the missile hit their building. Convinced that an evil spirit is trying to possess her daughter, the mother must do everything she can to prevent this from happening.

47 Meters Down: Uncaged (2019)

47 Meters Down: Uncaged is a standalone sequel to the 2017 film 47 Meters Down. It follows four teenage girls who decide to go scuba diving in a sunken Mayan city, only to soon find themselves trapped in an underwater maze of caves inhabited by a group of bloodthirsty great white sharks.
