Time Cut trailer sees a teen girl travel back in time to save her murdered sister

Two beloved Netflix stars, Antonia Gentry (Ginny & Georgia) and Madison Bailey (Outer Banks), will be seen next in a new project for the streamer called Time Cut. It's a slasher film set to be released on Netflix just in time for Halloween, and the streaming giant just dropped the chilling official trailer. Check it out below!

Honestly, this trailer had my attention from the first five seconds. There's no doubt in my mind that this film will be popular and well-received by audiences once it drops on Netflix on Oct. 30. I mean, it'll easily remind you of that Amazon Prime Video slasher Totally Killer, and that movie was a huge success. This film also stars two talented actresses that many people love. Their names being attached to this project alone will draw in viewers.

You know what, I'm calling it now. I might've not seen Time Cut just yet, but I can already tell that it's going to be one of the best horror movie releases on Netflix this year. Mark my words!

Time Cut was helmed by Hannah MacPherson from a script she co-wrote with Michael Kennedy. You might recognize MacPherson as the creator of the teen series T@gged. She also previously directed episodes of the teen shows Trinkets and School Spirits.

On the other hand, Kennedy is known for co-writing the script for the critically acclaimed slasher Freaky. He also wrote the screenplay for the Christmas slasher flick It's a Wonderful Knife. His most recent work is the upcoming Valentine's Day slasher Heart Eyes. He co-wrote the script for that film.

In Time Cut, we follow a brilliant high school senior named Lucy Field, who time travels back to 2003 to stop the murder of her older sister by a mysterious killer. Bailey stars in one of the leading roles as Lucy Field, while Gentry portrays Lucy's older sister, Summer Field. The rest of the cast includes Michael Shanks, Griffin Gluck, Rachael Crawford, Jordan Pettle, Megan Best, Samuel Braun, Sydney Sabiston, and Kataem O'Connor.

Time Cut is slated to land on Netflix on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024. Will you be watching the slasher?
