Chucky’s back! Season three of the Chucky series on USA and Syfy was split into two halves, the first of which ended on October 25th of last year. Since then, fans have been waiting impatiently for part two of the season, which will premiere in April.
Part one of the new season consisted of a scant four episodes, which really left viewers clamoring for more. The homicidal carrot-topped doll had begun to age, and as Chucky soon found out, the rapid aging was caused by his exorcism. Because of it, powerful voodoo god Damballa had abandoned him, and in order to get back in Damballa’s good graces (and return to his more youthful form), Chucky had to sacrifice six people in an evil location.
His first stop was the house in Amityville, and when that failed, he chose the most evil spot of them all: The White House. Three sacrifices later, Chucky planned for his final three victims. During a Halloween party, he intended to kill Jake, Devon and Lexy to fulfill Damballa’s requirement. But that didn’t quite work out, and Chucky was still continuing to age when we last saw him.
Meanwhile, Tiffany was put in prison for the multiple murders she committed, and managed to coerce a guard to help her escape with the aid of a voodoo doll.
Season three of Chucky will resume on April 10, 10:00 p.m. ET on USA and Syfy.
The series is executive produced by Child’s Play creator Don Mancini, along with Alex Hedlund, Nick Antosca, Jeff Renfoe and David Kirschner.
It stars Brad Dourif, who has voiced Chucky since the very first Child’s Play film, alongside other returning actors such as Jennifer Tilly, Fiona Dourif and Alex Vincent (who originally played the role of Andy when he was a mere seven years old).
