Walmart releasing exclusive horror SteelBooks for films like You're Next, Sinister, and more

We have a good-news-bad-news situation for diehard horror fans and physical media collectors. The good news is that Bloody Disgusting is releasing an awesome line of SteelBooks for seven popular Lionsgate movies this summer. The bad news is that my wallet will be hurting because I need these so badly.

The collection is a Walmart exclusive and will feature the films Wolf Creek, Sinister, Texas Chainsaw (2013), I Spit On Your Grave (2010), You're Next, Leatherface, and Hannibal Rising. Each SteelBook includes the Blu-ray version of the film plus a digital copy.

All the new Steelbooks feature a new look and artwork by the artist Bond, designed as specially commissioned collectibles. They will be sold individually exclusively at Walmart beginning on August 20, retailing for $24.99 each.

More information about each of the titles below:

• Wolf Creek (2005) - An Australian horror film about a trio of backpackers taken hostage by a psychopathic serial killer in the outback.
• Sinister (2012) - Ethan Hawke plays a struggling true crime writer who finds an old snuff film showcasing the horrific deaths of an entire family. Eager to solve the mystery, he moves his own family into the victims' old home and finds more old footage that leads him to a terrifying supernatural force.
• Leatherface (2017) - The eighth overall installment in the iconic Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise, Leatherface works as a prequel to the original 1974 film from director Tobe Hooper.
• Texas Chainsaw (2013) - "Do your thing, cuz!" This cheesy 2013 film is silly but an absolute blast to watch. Alexandra Daddario plays a woman who finds out she's adopted. To receive her inheritance, she and her friends road trip to investigate the Texas property and stumble upon a house of horrors.
• I Spit On Your Grave (2010) - A remake of the 1978 cult film, I Spit on Your Grave is a harrowing rape-revenge movie starring Sarah Butler.
• You're Next (2011) - One of the best slasher movies of the 2010s, You're Next is about an upper-class family that gets attached by a bunch of assailants in animal masks.
• Hannibal Rising (2007) - Based on Thomas Harris' novel, Hannibal Rising functions as a prequel to films like The Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal, exploring how Hannibal became the cannibalistic serial killer we know him as. Gaspard Ulliel stars in the title role.

In addition to the SteelBook line, Bloody Disgusting has also curated a horror fan shop at Walmarts nationwide that features horror collectibles based on properties like Trick 'r Treat, House of 1000 Corpses, Terrifer, Scream, and more. Time to go shopping!
