Still trying to wrap your mind around that crazy twist in last week's episode of Grotesquerie? Don't worry, this week FX will air two episodes back-to-back again. We might be almost done with October, but there's still plenty of horror on the way. Apart from Grotesquerie, expect new episodes of Teacup and From season 3, plus the premiere of What We Do in the Shadows season 6.

For film, we get to see Melissa Barrera's charming romantic comedy Your Monster and the latest from producer Sam Raimi with the Netflix thriller Don't Move. Keep reading to see all the scary movies dropping this week!

Carved (Oct. 21, Hulu)

There's kind of a killer pumpkin on the loose. Think twice before picking up that giant butcher knife and carving a jack-o-lantern this year. Hulu's latest original horror film is based on the previous "Huluween" short of the same name. Director Justin Harding returns with a full-length version of his campy monster movie featuring a sentient pumpkin terrorizing teens trapped overnight in a historical reenactment village.

What We Do in the Shadows (Oct. 21, FX)

The sixth and final season of this hilarious horror-comedy series kicks off tonight on FX with a three-episode premiere, followed by one a week until the series finale. Episodes will also stream on Hulu the following day. Expect to see the return of fan-favorite characters, some newcomers, and a lot more supernatural hijinks.

Ghost Game (Oct. 22, VOD)

The latest horror film from Dread includes a terrifying new internet challenge based on the concept of "phrogging," which is when you stay inside someone's house undetected. A couple attempts this challenge, unaware they've entered a haunted house and will soon encounter evil forces driving a family to madness.

Family Pack (Oct. 23, Netflix)

This quirky French comedy film is one of the few titles this week you can enjoy with your family. Rated TV-14, Family Pack is based on the popular game The Werewolves of Miller's Hollow, where players are assigned secret roles and must discern who among them is a werewolf. In the film, a family is transported back in time to the real medieval village in the 1940s, where they must find the werewolves and kill them before becoming victims themselves.

Your Monster (Oct. 25, Theaters)

A charming new horror-tinged romantic comedy starring scream queen Melissa Barrera, Your Monster is the perfect Halloween comfort movie for fans of Lisa Frankenstein and The Shape of Water. Barrera plays Laura, a struggling actor recently dumped by her boyfriend, forcing her to return to her childhood home. It gets worse: her boyfriend is putting on a musical that she helped him create. Down on her luck, Laura is shocked to discover a monster living in her closet and even more surprised when he becomes just what she needs.

Don't Move (Oct. 25, Netflix)

Kelsey Abille and Finn Wittrock star in this Sam Raimi-produced thriller film about a woman on the run from a killer, but with a unique catch. He injects her with a paralytic agent that will shut her body down over the course of 20 minutes, meaning she only has that long to escape as her limbs slowly stop working one by one.

Before (Oct. 25, Apple TV+)

A new show that stars Judith Light and Billy Crystal, do you really need any more incentive to watch? While not fully horror, Before is a psychological thriller about a child psychiatrist struggling to come to terms with the death of his late wife, further complicated by the haunting connection he forges with a troubled young patient. Apple will drop the first two episodes this Friday and then one per week after that.

Trap (Oct. 25, Max)

This year has been amazing for horror movies featuring fictional pop stars. Lady Raven takes the stage in Trap, the latest film from M. Night Shyamalan. Plan an epic double feature by seeing Smile 2 in theaters and then watching Trap when you get home! Azrael (Oct. 25, Shudder)

On the heels of the recent confirmation that Ready or Not 2 is in development, now seems like the perfect time to check in with star Samara Weaving's latest film, a religious thriller set in a world post-Rapture in which survivors have given up speech. Weaving plays a woman hunted by zealots intent on using her as a sacrifice to pacify an ancient evil. Released theatrically by IFC Films in September, Azrael makes its VOD and Shudder streaming debut this Friday.

All You Need Is Blood (Oct. 25, VOD)

A 16-year-old gets the chance of a lifetime to make an iconic horror film with a real zombie after a meteor crashes into his backyard, leaving his poor dad a brain-eating member of the undead. All You Need is Blood is a new horror comedy starring Mena Suvari.
