SCREAM TV releases weekly programming schedule for October
By Carla Davis
SCREAM TV began its life just a couple of days ago on October 13. The new horror platform is available to view 24/7, with nothing but horror all day every day. As if that isn’t good enough, it’s absolutely free. That’s right, no subscription or password is necessary to view everything SCREAM TV has to offer.
And they definitely have a lot to offer. 1428 Elm has already covered the initial SCREAM TV announcement, but now the newly launched website has their daily “TV Guide” listed. You can check out those details, but here are a few of the October highlights:
October 15:
Restitution - Mia's family was murdered by a serial killer when she was just a child, leaving her the only survivor. Years later, her family's killer is released on one of those frustrating technicalities, and Mia decides to seek vengeance on her own.
October 16:
The House By the Cemetery – In this Lucio Fulci film, a serial killer is committing horrific murders in a home in New England.
October 17:
Motel Hell – Rory Calhoun stars as farmer Vincent, who sells delectable smoked meats while also running the Motel Hello with his sister Ida. But all is not as it seems, since “It takes all kinds of critters to make Farmer Vincent fritters.” ALL kinds!
October 18:
Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire – Set one year after the storyline of Hell House LLC II: The Abaddon Hotel, this installment sees the hotel bought by a billionaire. Russell Wynn wants to use the spooky locale as the set for his show Insomnia. It’s not a great choice.
October 20:
In honor of Bela Lugosi’s birthday, SCREAM TV will broadcast White Zombie and Murders in the Rue Morgue.
October 25:
Beyond the Chamber of Terror – This horror comedy was described by PopHorror as “a loving tribute to the splatter films of the 90s.”
Halloween Specials will include Glowzies (which, according to IMDb, includes “vomit-spewing zombies”) and Halloween.
There are also weekly programming series on SCREAM TV during October, including the following:
Weekdays at 5:00 p.m.: Classics
Mondays at 9:00 p.m.: Chris Alexander’s Sinister Cinema
Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m.: Elvira’s Movie Macabre
Fridays at 9:00 p.m.: Fright Premiere
Saturdays at 9:00 p.m.: Frightfest Saturday Scares with Alan Jones
Sundays at 9:00 p.m.: Hammer Sunday
