It's a great day for horror fans. Why? Well, we've got some good news to share. The one horror movie from 2024 that pretty much everyone has been eagerly waiting to hit streaming will finally be available to stream on Hulu starting tomorrow. This horror film was one of the most talked about movies last year, and it still seems to be the topic of discussion today. You probably already know which horror flick we’re referring to, right?
Drum roll, please! After what feels like an eternity, the smash-hit horror thriller Longlegs is finally arriving on Hulu this Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, aka Valentine's Day! If you didn't have Valentine's Day plans at first, you do know! Grab your significant other, friends, or family and spend the holiday by watching what's arguably the most gripping and disturbing horror film of 2024.
We had a feeling Longlegs would drop on Hulu in February, thanks to rumors circulating. However, there was also some uncertainty about its release this month, especially since Hulu had already revealed its lineup for February 2025, and Longlegs wasn’t listed. Still, we knew there was a chance it could drop in February, as streamers often leave out their biggest releases from their monthly lists. Oftentimes, they save them for big announcements later. It looks like that’s exactly what happened with Longlegs.
The horror film has been available to stream on Prime Video in the U.K. and Ireland since Jan. 8, and in just a day, U.S. viewers will finally be able to join in on the terror. However, it's important to mention that you'll need to be subscribed to Hulu in order to gain access to the movie on the platform. Hulu offers various subscription plans, so just pick the one that suits you best, and you’ll be ready to stream one of the top horror films of 2024.
Longlegs was directed by Osgood Perkins. He also penned the script. Maika Monroe stars as the main character, Lee Harker, an FBI agent who finds herself drawn into a chilling investigation involving a terrifying serial killer responsible for the brutal slayings of several families in Oregon. Nicolas Cage joins Monroe in the cast as the creepy killer, Longlegs. The rest of the cast is made up of Blair Underwood, Alicia Witt, Kiernan Shipka, Jason Day, Peter James Bryant, and others.
