Yellowjackets season 3 release date set for February 2025

Are you ready to hear some good news? Yellowjackets fans, the wait is almost over. The release date for the highly anticipated third season has been revealed, and the popular horror series is officially set to return in February 2025!

Oh, you want to know the exact date. Well, mark your calendar for Feb. 14, 2025, because that's when the first two episodes of the new season will drop on Paramount+. However, keep in mind that you'll have to be subscribed to the Paramount+ with Showtime plan to be granted access. Then, the third season will have its on-air debut on Showtime two days later on Feb. 16.

Yellowjackets is a critically acclaimed horror-thriller series that was created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson. It premiered its first season on Showtime back in November 2021 and has seen much success over the years, including being nominated for seven Emmys. Due to all its success, the show has been renewed for three seasons so far, and fans have been patiently waiting for the new season to be released. Now that the release date for Yellowjackets season 3 has been announced, we can all relax and wait for its arrival.

The show centers around a high-school female soccer team who are involved in a plane crash while on their way to a championship game, leaving them stranded in the wilderness with no help or means to escape. This storyline takes place in 1996. The horror series also has a second timeline set in 2021, where we see the now-adult survivors dealing with the aftermath of what they experienced out there in the wilderness.

This show has a huge and talented ensemble cast made up of actors such as Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Christina Ricci, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, Kevin Alves, Simone Kessell, Lauren Ambrose, Samantha Hanratty, Steven Krueger, Warren Kole, and so many others.

There are two new cast additions for season 3, Joel McHale and Hilary Swank. However, it's unknown at the moment who they will be portraying in the series. We can't wait to find out, though!
