1428: That’s great. As far as you not being a writer, don’t sell yourself short. Just like someone who’s in prison for 30 years and gets shawshank, it would be interesting to see Kelly having trouble reintegrating into society because of the whole time-traveling mechanism. Now that everything has almost been rest.

DD: Ha that’s really funny. I didn’t even think about that. Like we know they’ve been living in Ash’s trailer, but if they all lived in the same house now. I know the show isn’t “Friends”, but that just made me laugh. You should put that in the comment box for our writers haha.

More from Horror on TV

1428. Ha right. But really, you guys are such enriched characters, I could watch Kelly and Pablo in a different series. They are fully realized and you can care about them. And you don’t have to jump back into the mythology, the Deadites and the Necronomicon immediately. It could be the first two episodes where you guys are trying to get back to real life but you want to stay close because you know how bad it can get. And maybe Kelly is working at a department store and you hear something and think it’s a Deadite but it’s not.

DD: I love that, look at you.

1428: And maybe Kelly wants to live on her own because she’s so independent. And Pablo says “Kelly you can’t leave. We’re The “Ghostbeaters”, what if they come back!?”

DD: I mean do you blame her for wanting to be on her own when her roommates are Kelly and Pablo haha? I’ll tell you right now, Kelly will not be cleaning that bathroom.

1428: She would make Pablo clean the bathroom haha. Because he is the feminine one and Kelly is the masculine one. It’s the perfect dynamic. And that’s meant as a compliment. Just like in the Season 2 finale, it had to be Kelly and Ash. It was the only way. Ash needs you as much as you need him.

DD: That’s amazing. I love that. I just can’t wait to see what the writers come up with next. But what you said was awesome. You should write some fan fiction. I’d read it.

1428: Maybe I will haha. Anyway, it’s been a pleasure speaking with you and keep doing what’re doing. We can’t wait for more. Have a good one.

DD: You too my friend. Take care.

THE CONCLUSION:

And there you have it Cabin Creatures! After three excellent parts, our conversation with the beautifully talented Dana DeLorenzo comes to an end. So generous with her time. So generous in her responses. She’s just a class-act person whom I’d befriend in a heart beat.

As for Kelly Maxwell, we can’t wait until we find out what happens in Ash vs Evil Dead Season 3. With Starz already renewing the series, and with Dark Ruby presumably coming for revenge, the future of Kelly is in question. What we do know, for certain, is Kelly will be there to kick as much as needed.
